Bornwild programs operate slightly different to other organisations, as we believe the objective is to focus on the two fundamental commodities, natural environment and community.
Each, location and activities within provide you with a great opportunity and affordability to make a rewarding change. We believe it is the best way, in which you can truly experience Malawi and its friendly communities.
Project Contributions:
100% of your Project Contribution will be contributed to your project. By doing so, this enables you to see exactly where your money is going and you can see what is being achieved while you are on site. The Project Contributions is an amount of AUD $300.00 however you are free to offer more should you so wish.
What do my fees cover?
Up to 25% of Bornwild cost is invested into community and conservation
X1 Transfer night in JHB including pick up and delivery (Bed and Breakfast only)
Airport pick up and delivery in Malawi (Lilongwe only)
All accommodation
All accommodation while on Bornwild projects in Malawi
24hr back up service, with Hosts and Project contacts
Access to medical facilities and overseas trained doctor
On ground local knowledge and networks to answer your requests
Expert bilingual guide at all times
First Aid kit available and to be take to all village sites (compulsory)
Induction and orientation of Bornwild programs and locations
Transfer to nominated location - Kuti or Kakuyu
Bicycles at sites that deem fit, including helmets
Planting of trees
Airport Tax
$5.00 mobile phone credits
Overall assistance and guidance of additional information on Malawi
Additional Costs:
Personal expenses - you will need approximately $100.00 per week/ for drinks and personal shopping.

All immunisation/vaccinations and other personal medical
